Lithuanian Trade Union of Comercial and Co-operative Employees

Lithuanian Trade Union of Commercial and Co-operative Employees is an independent non-governmental organisation carrying on the policy of free trade unions and uniting trade union organisations, unifications and associations. It was founded on the 27th of February 1990. In 1992 it was registered at the Ministry of Justice.

Our trade union unites more than one hundred trade union organisations and has about 6000 members. LTUCC is a member of Lithuanian Trade Union Unification.

Lithuanian Trade Union of Commercial and Co-operative Employees unites people employed in the co-operative, commercial, service, security and banking sectors.

The main aim of LTUCCE is to protect the rights of its members and their economical, social and professional interests in relations with employers, governmental and governing institutions.

The Lithuanian Trade Union of Commercial and Co-operative Employees exists according to the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the conventions of International Labour Organisation.

 LTUCCE is a member of Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation which is the biggest trade union structure in Lithuania. Internationally, LTUCCE is affiliated to UNI (Union Network International) and IUF Hotel & Restaurant Sector. It co-operates with other trade unions both in Lithuania and abroad. Close contacts are established with Latvian, Estonian, Norwegian and Swedish trade unions of commercial employees Handels and HTF, Nordic Financial Union (NFU, trade unions of Denmark, Finland, Island, Sweden and Norway uniting financial and bank sector employees).
